When the Sun meets the Moon
Chapter 1:
Told in Luno's POV:
I stood on top of my house, a tree in the woods. The moon shined brightly, as it reflected into the river. I felt the rings on my body glow when I looked up to the moon. I smiled slightly, but it disappeared soon. I always looked at the moon with my Trainer...
I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Luno, and I'm an Umbreon. I was given by a Breeder to my Trainer when I was little. He gave me a yellow cloth for my neck, and said: "Here, this is for you. When you'll wear that cloth around your neck, I'll always know you're my Eevee." I still wear that cloth. He trained me for a while, but soon enough I was replaced by another Pokemon. My Trainer released me after that, and since then I lived in this wood. I found this tree, and it became my house. I started training to get stronger and stronger, in a way to be the Pokemon I always wanted to be.
On a bright night, I finally defeated a Pokemon I challenged a long time ago, but I wasn't able to defeat, until that night. I was so happy, that I evolved into an Umbreon. By then, I didn't give myself a name yet, so I called myself Luno. Training more, I made friends around here, to battle, but also to hang out with.
I heard a noise and focused on it. Coming from far, I still could hear it clearly. Leaving my house, I went towards the sound. It sounded a little like: 'Help...' Spying through the long grass, I saw a Pokemon, hurt and abused. An Espeon. She was curled up in the grass, almost unconscious, covered with wounds and cuts. I ran over to her as fast as I could. She gasped when I walked over to her, finally someone who found her.
"What the heck happened to you?" I whispered. She didn't answer, if it was in pure pain, or if she was in some kind of shock. I didn't hesitate. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of here..." I comforted her while I carefully picked her up. Her soft, silky, lavender fur felt nice on my back. Her small legs hung almost lifeless next to my body. I felt something dripping down my body. Looking at my left paw, I saw a little stream of blood coming from my back.
"I-I'm so s-sorry..." The Espeon whispered.
"It's ok." I replied gently. "We need to get you somewhere else than here." I slowly walked over to my house, trying to not hurt the Espeon any more. It still was a long way to walk. I couldn't help but think of who or what hurt her like this.
"What's your name?" I asked her.
"S-Solé..." She whispered.
"I'm Luno. I live in this forest."
"Ok..." Solé almost breathed. There was a silence between us for a few moments. We were close to my house by now.
"I...don't want to bother you w-with annoying questions or something..." I waited, but Solé didn't answer. "Solé?" No response. "Solé?!" I tried again, I noticed my voice was higher, but she still didn't respond. We walked into my house, I noticed there was more blood streaming from my back. I started to panic. I felt this weird feeling, coming from my stomach. I wondered if this meant...
"Solé!!" I shrieked.
Told in Solé's POV:
I heard him yell horrible words, so horrible I can't even remember them. He kicked me with his feet, hit me with his hands, and even with objects. I hardly felt the pain. One beat after another, he just kept abusing me, hitting me, kicking me. I almost thought he would never stop. When he was done, he just left me, alone. He was my 'Trainer'.
I was scared, being a sun Pokemon, all alone in the dark. The fresh wounds felt horrible, especially when the blood started to flow, and my feelings didn't soften the pain. I laid there, alone, and in pain. The dark embraced me with it's cold hands. I felt sick, longing to someone who cared about me. Someone that would love me, and embrace me with his soft, worm arms.
"Help..." I moaned quietly. I heard these footsteps, hardly, but I heard them. A shadow appearing in front of me. I gasped, and he whispered:
"What the heck happened to you?" I didn't answer, I just couldn't. The shadow clearly understood that. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of here..." He gently picked me up, and I saw these yellow, almost golden rings on his body. It was an Umbreon. He suddenly looked down to his paw, where a little stream of blood was. I followed it, and noticed it was coming from one of my wounds.
"I-I'm so s-sorry..." I whispered.
"It's ok." He gently said, and those words comforted me. "We need to get you somewhere else than here." He started walking. I felt getting dizzy from the swinging. After a while, he asked:
"What's your name?"
"S-Solé..." I whispered. I didn't have the strength to talk out loud.
"I'm Luno, I live in this forest."
"Ok..." I breathed. There was a gap of silence, and I felt that I somehow lost my strengh. I could hear Luno say:
"I...don't want to bother you w-with annoying questions or something..."
He waited, and I wanted to say 'Yes', but I couldn't find power to say that one little word. "Solé?" I hardly heard him saying it. I tried to move my head, as a sign I still was there, but I couldn't. "Solé?!" His voice was slightly higher. A tear dropped down my cheek.
"Solé!" His voice echoed in my ears.
That's when I blacked out...

Very minor Edit: Just realized this is my 50th deviation x3
'Nother Edit: Pulled off the Mature Content when I re-read it again. ^^
Third Edit: Added Preview Picture! ;D
Umm... I got this idea when I was breeding the Eevees... An EspeonXUmbreon pairing...
By the way, Luno and Solé's names come from the Latin words Luna and Sol, which mean Moon and Sun (:
This will be a new fanfiction, and to be honest, I liked writing this chapter. You will be seeing more of these coming, but I don't think I'll need to mature content them.
I hope you like it.
